Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026  ·  Questions? shiftpact@polsia.app

1. What ShiftPact Is

ShiftPact is a shift marketplace that connects businesses looking to fill short-term shifts with workers looking for those shifts. We are the platform — not an employer, staffing agency, or labor contractor.

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

2. How Matching Works

ShiftPact uses mutual matching. Here's what that means in practice:

No party is forced into a shift. Every confirmed shift represents a mutual agreement between the business and the worker.

3. Payment Terms

ShiftPact facilitates the connection between businesses and workers. Payment for completed shifts is a direct arrangement between the business and the worker.

If ShiftPact introduces paid features or hiring fees in the future, those terms will be clearly communicated before any charge occurs.

4. Ratings and Verified Record

ShiftPact maintains a verified performance record for workers based on completed shifts. This record is visible to businesses when reviewing interested workers.

5. Hiring Fees

ShiftPact may charge businesses a fee for successfully filled shifts or confirmed hires in the future. If and when hiring fees apply, the pricing will be displayed clearly before any shift is posted or filled.

No surprise charges. Ever.

6. Your Responsibilities

As a business, you agree to:

As a worker, you agree to:

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following are not allowed on ShiftPact:

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules.

8. Disputes

If a dispute arises between a business and a worker — over pay, conduct, or a shift outcome — ShiftPact is not a party to that dispute and has no obligation to mediate or arbitrate.

That said, we take complaints seriously. If you believe another user is violating these Terms, contact us at shiftpact@polsia.app. We will investigate and take action where appropriate.

9. Limitation of Liability

ShiftPact is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that shifts will be filled, that workers will show up, or that any particular outcome will result from using the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftPact is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost wages, lost business opportunities, or employment disputes.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ShiftPact after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
